Clay Finishes & Decorations 2024

At the straw house in Pramaggiore (VE)

Finishes are not only the aesthetic part of our wall but can also be a tool to express our artistic vein through material application. Getting hands into the earth has tremendous therapeutic power both physically and mentally; clay in contact with our skin can extract toxins from the body, rebalancing our magnetic and energetic fields.

PROGRAM

Theory: There will be a theoretical part where the characteristics of raw earth, natural mineral, vegetable, and animal colors will be explained. We will understand which ingredients to combine in the mix to create different finishes with colors.

Practice: We will see how to perform tests to understand different mixes and create examples of plaster. All participants will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty by creating samples of finishes and decorations using various provided ingredients and different tools.
