It takes me few days to answer e-mails because I have not internet at home. Please be patient.
We always need help and we can accommodate volunteers until mid October
(when cold arrives) in tents or in the caravan we have. We are going to
work this summer on our straw bale house and other different projects.
At the moment we are clay plastering inside and building internal walls
in my house, but we need help in the garden and taking care of animals
(30 chickens, 2 dogs, 1 cat) as well. We are waiting to start a
new building not far from our property, so we will work over there too.
When I am running courses here at LA BOA I need help in preparing food,
cleaning, do dishes etc. in any case I need help in gardening, feeding
animals and building. I am very busy teaching in other places as well
and when I am working away I need volunteers to take care of the house,
animals and garden (wwoofers/volunteers will work alone for three - four days).
Here are few info.
Where to stay at LA BOA: accommodation is very basic. In
spring & summertime a tent is best. There are very nice spaces in
the shade in the wood close to the river or in the field where to put
tents. There are compost toilettes and a camp showers. Please BRING
YOUR OWN SLEEPING BAG and if you can your own tent!! If you have not
your own tent I can provide one for you.
How to get to LA BOA:
By car:
motorway A4 Venezia-Trieste, exit Portogruaro. Follow Portogruaro
directions. After the second flyover turn right to Treviso. Pass the
roundabout and towards Treviso. Stay on this road for about 6 km (4
miles) then left direction S. Stino di Livenza / Belfiore. After 1 km
you will be at Belfiore then turn left on to via Lison (the only one on
the left). After 1 km turn right on to via BOA (the only one on the
right). Straight on, straight on, until the very end. The road end in
LA BOA farm. It is very easy !!!!
By train:
stop Portogruaro - Caorle (on the track Venezia Trieste). Get the bus
to Belfiore (direction TREVISO) in front of the railway station and ask
the driver to drop you down at BELFIORE CENTRO (near bar Filippi yellow building). this is the time table of the
bus from Portogruaro to Belfiore
We are about half an hour
walking far from the bus stop. Get Via Lison in front of the bar; after
1 km get Via Boa on your right. We are at the very end.
Arriving at the airport Venice Marco
Polo: get the bus to Portogruaro (probably you have to change at San
Donà di Piave). Go to Portogruaro railway station then get the bus from the railway station (see "by train"..)

If you can not get the bus to Portogruaro you can get the bus to Mestre Station then get a train to Portogruaro (then see "by train"...). here is the time table from Marco Polo airport to Mestre station:
Arriving at the airport Treviso:
get the bus n.6 outside the airport to the railway station then the bus
to Portogruaro (the last one is at 18.52) ask the driver to drop you
down at BELFIORE CENTRO (near bar Filippi, yellow building ). We are about half an hour walking far from the bus
stop. Get Via Lison in front of the bar; after 1 km get Via Boa on your
right. We are at the very end.

If the bus does not stop at
Belfiore but only at PRADIPOZZO, the walk is a bit longer: from the
square in Pradipozzo get via Steimbeck until the end, then turn left in
via Pietra until the end; turn left in via Lison. Then get Via Boa, the
first on your right. We are at the very end.
There are also trains to Portogruaro.
Please I
need to know who and when is arriving, how long will you stay here and
if you are bringing your own tent.
